Disassembling perceived traditional expectations and assumptions while celebrating Queer culture and providing a lens of queer thinking and empowerment.

Special Guest: Simon Calaycay 🍎

Simon is a non-binary immigrant from the country now called the Philippines. With a background in Hospitality Administration, Simon’s path shifted during undergrad through deep involvement in 2S-LGBTQIA+ volunteer work, which sparked a lasting passion for community building and the arts. Over the past few years, Simon has been growing their roots in the region by performing with local improv groups, coordinating newcomer programming, and building connections with local arts communities.
